Henry's Fork Anglers is currently seeking to fill full-time Sales Associate positions for the 2008 season. We have a well- earned reputation for providing the best customer service in the business. Our shop staff is the integral front line to maintaining that standard of excellence. We invite all qualified candidates to apply.

Qualifications include:
- Must possess fly fishing experience (the more the better)
- A passion for fly fishing & other outdoor activities is a must
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Outgoing personality is a plus
- Commitment to customer service
- Detail-oriented
- Able to stay on task amid frequent interruptions
- Highly self-motivated, dependable, and honest
- Must possess general personal computer proficiency
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities include:
- Maintain excellent customer service by making customers feel comfortable and by finding solutions to their needs and problems
- Retail sales of fly fishing & outdoor products, fishing licenses, and rental equipment
- Physical aesthetic maintenance of our fly shop and grounds
- Receive, price, and stock inventory
- Perform administrative tasks including, running our POS software, taking guide reservations, and filling client orders & information requests
- Fish as much as you can on your days off
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Stay busy & perform other tasks as assigned

Most Sales Associates work a 40 hour week (four 10-hour shifts), with three days off each week so they can spend plenty of time doing what they love. Sales Associates receive a discount on all purchases from the store, and also have the opportunity to purchase top-of-the-line fly fishing equipment at substantial discounts through employee purchase programs. Preferred candidates will be available to work at least three months duration between May 10, 2008 and October 15, 2008. Ideally, we would like to hire at least one candidate who is available for the full duration of our May 15 to October 15 season. Hourly wages vary depending on qualifications.

Henry's Fork Anglers also employs a full time guide staff of the finest professional fly fishing guides in the industry. Working on our shop staff is the doorway to working as one our guides. Preference will be given to individuals who are willing to commit to long- term seasonal employment. Applications will be accepted through January 10, 2008.
