Current Report
The Alagnak River was full of large (25-40 pound) chinook salmon and fresh sockeye when I was there July 4-13. A few rainbows were around as well, but the big salmon kind of spooked the trout I think. The Kings were taking large brightly colored 3/0 bunny flies. The greenheads would take anything you throw at them but the fresh sockeye downstream were harder to catch.
