Current Report
Today we fish in the Chimehuin river, it was the classic float from the town to the Manzano pool, this is s great chance to fish for many hours in amazing places and in worldwide famous pools. The Place: From the town to the Manzano pool. The Equipment: Rods N° 6 and 8 with fast sinking lines that worked very well because the water is high and they take the flies right to the bottom. The Flies: the classic streamers worked very well and even better if the were olive green and combinations with black. The Fishing: it was great, we caught some very good browns and some fighting rainbows, we had all day long strikes so we tried in every good looking place that this beautiful river has. We were surprised by the fight of the rainbows because they are finishing the spawn but they looked like they were and really good shape, this is going to be a great season. www.aguasclarasflyfishing.com
