Today we went to Filo Hua
Hum, to fish in those
beautiful Bocas that made
their entrance in the lake,
and if the time was right,
fish in the Spring Creek too.
It was a great day of
fishing, we caught some big
and fighting trout that will
remind in our memories for
ever
The place: Filo Hua Hum lake,
spring creek, and Nuevo river.
The equipment: Rods N° 5 and
6 with fast sinking lines.
The flies: We used bucktail
streamers and the classic
Woolly Buggers in dark
colors, the Dr. Lecter and
some dragonflies too.
The fishing: It was amazing,
with some trout that showed
us the magic of this place.
We caught very big Browns and
one beautiful Brook that
surprised us because it was
14:00 in the afternoon and
took the fly really close to
the shore. We also caught
rainbows but the best one was
a 6 pounds brown that jumped
20 mts. away and showing us
the power of this gorgeous
fish.
The weather: It was really
nice, we had lunch in the
Cypress grandpa, near the
shore of the lake and then we
enjoyed a beautiful sunny
afternoon of fly fishing.
