Current Report
For the last month, I have been fishing some of the small inland lakes with a variety of poppers. I have never caught so many smallies and decent sized bluegills. Ironically, the biggest popper was catching the smallest bass. I am using a #6 rod with #12 poppers... black and chartreuse patterns. The black has been the most successful as I caught a 3 pounder at Eagle Lake in the early morning.
