Current Report
This week on the Muskegon has been better than expected ! The river has some new fish ....but the winter holdovers have been very active this week. We have also noticed an increase in the stream trout bite.Water temps are warming slightly in the afternoons but are starting in the low 30's.With March right around the corned it looks as the run is right on time.Only 8 weeks of steelhead fishing left dont miss out! Get out on the stream today. The hot flies have been eggs and small nymphs. The winter black stonefly hatch should be starting any day now. When these nymphs are present the fish totally key on these little bugs.Try a size 12-16 PT to imitate these little but important bugs.
