Current Report
If you drive to Point mARION Penn. You will find a pere behind the dam. there is a very large shoreline which can be waded carefully when the water is down. This post may only appeal to fly fishermen from this point on.Try to be on the river by about 6:45 this is when it is still coll enough across all parts of the water. Try a muddler minnow or an assortment of dry flies. I threw in a muddler and caught a 3 lb smallmouth in almost 3 seconds after it hit the water. This action carried on until around 10:00 or until the sun completely had risen. This is a very good spot to catch large fish. I f you dont mind giving it a little effort. Good luck and good fishing!
