Current Report
Come to Cape Breton for some spectacular fishing on the Margree River. The only river to have gotten any rain. There are lots of fish and good water, it last rained on Thursday July 28 the river came up 10 inches. come and play with the fishes, I'll be there tomorrow myself. On a sadder note, Vern Boone, a friend and avid flyfisherman known thoughout Cape Breton and Nova Scotia, passed away Sunday morning. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him, but mostly by his grandson and my best friend. He introduced us to the fly-rod then to salmon and our passion will never die to hook the mighty salmon opn the fly. Anyone who has a story or knew Vern can contact me by e- mail. I figured Vern could catch a salmon in a ditch.
