Current Report
Sector 1: Sector 1 offers fishing for 8 angler(only)/day. There are at least 15 major (identified) pools to fish and other interesting "pot holes" to explore (either by canoe or wading). Some pools on the St-Jean hold fish all season!! The St-Jean is considered to be one the 10 best salmon rivers in Québec. A well dressed "Dry" on these and crystal clear waters...will certainly produce action!! Sector 2: Sector 2 offers fishing for 2 anglers(only)/day. This excellent stretch of water (very productive in June to mid-July) is accessible only by canoe. Wet fly in early weeks of June and then both dry and wet later in the season. This sector offers 7 beautiful pools to discover. St-Jean; Gin clear water and a dry fly paradise. The fish count for September of 2002 was 352 grilses and 685 adults (40% and 60% respectively), with an approximate count of 500 fish landed. We look forward to bringing you updated reports during the 2003 season!
