Current Report
Friday 5/27- Partly Cloudy skies temp in the low 70s and water temp at 56. Fished from 7:30 til I couldn't see any more. Big sulfur hatch, with a lot of rising trout at dusk. Before the hatch I fished with a #10 Olive mix minnow and caught 2 Rainbows (8, 11) and a 14" Brown. Once the madness started a positioned myself at the back of a pool and threw a #16 Sulfur. I landed 5 Rainbows and a brown (6-12"). Sunday 5/29- Mostly Sunny skies temps in the upper 60s, water temp at 54. Fished from 7 til I couldn't see anymore. Once again I fished a #10 Olive Mix Minnow before the hatch and landed a beautiful 17" Rainbow along with a 10" Rainbow and an 8" Brown. Hatch wasn't quite as heavy tonight and there was only one pool with active fish, I landed 4 Rainbows and 2 browns on a #16 Sulfur (6- 14"). It's always great to mix together my favorite things about fishing, Falling Spring, Fly Fishing, Sulfurs, and rising trout.
