Current Report
6/04/2005- 7pm.-9pm. Falling Spring Branch Franklin county, southcentral, PA. WEATHER- overcast, hot, humid low80's-mid70's. WATER Conds.- seemed little low and crystal Clear.Temp. forgot? cold mid-low 50's?. FLIES- #18 Tan caddis dry, #16 Sulphur Dries, and dropper #18 midge larva. I caught 5, 3 Browns and 2 Rainbows, smaller fish 12" & under. I got all fish on dry flies listed, none on dropper. Also missed 4 and hooked 3 others. HATCHES- sulphurs, tan caddis, blk.caddis, and midges. "SPINNERS"- Sulphurs (ALOT). RISERS- sporadic at first but as the spinners fell the water boiled. TOO Bad it gets dark so fast. I usually don't fish the Local Waters on the weekends but, I wanted to fish and it seemed to be a Sulphur kinda evening. Of course being a weekend there was some guys out, the spot I fished there was only one but of course, he worked his way down instead of up and was right above as I slowly worked my way up. I only got to fish about 40-50yds. of water but it was great. Spinners everywhere!!! Later, Joe Ike joeike@keystoneanglingheritag e.com Or joeike@yahoo.com
