Current Report
Its that time again! Some of the best early dry fly fishing on the Bitterroot river and big trout too! This medium sized stonefly, known as the Skwalla, is the first hatch of the year. Fishing on the upper and middle parts of the river is beginning to pick up as the warmer night air temps begin to increase. The fishing will continue to improve through March and April. Along with the Skwallas you will find good hatches of Grey Drakes and Blue Wings in the next couple of weeks.
