While the bait(worms)and flasher group only had 3 fish for a 3 person boat, I got 22 fish from a float tube and fly fishing with a leech pattern. A rubber raft with two people using power bait had no action when I talked to them. I fished from 12:30pm to 5:30pm on May 29th. Most trout were in the 10 to 12 inch range but I caught 3 in the 14-15 inch range. It was a bit windy so I used a sinking tip to get down a ways. Lots of snow still around the campground so still very cold at that elevation. Be prepaired to have your government get their share of the action. They now charge $5 a day to park you car. Much more if you want to camp. This after raising your fishing licence from $18 to $24.75 and combining the salmon and sturgon tag so they can charge $22 instead of $12 for each.
