Current Report
Where has the year gone? Another great year of fishing with friends and clients that have become friends. Some of my fondest memories are of last years tarpon season. Weather and the fish were very cooperative. Hurricane Wima has come and gone.. Flats have cleared and things have returned to normal. except there are more redfish and finger mullet then I have ever seen...Did the hurricanes relocate some of these fish from the gulf? Weather for the end of the year has been exceptional. Warm sunny and light winds. The water temps are in the middle 70s. The permit, bonefish and juvenile tarpon fishing has been outstanding. Tarpon in the 5 to 30lb. range have been rolling and feeding on top in the early morning. It is big fun fishing for these small tarpon. Weather for the end of the year has been exceptional. Warm sunny and light winds. The water temps are in the middle 70s. In fact it is hard for me to sit here and type this report, the clouds have just moved though and I know were to find some bones and permit on the incoming tide.. Happy New Year
