Current Report
Well, I can't believe it took me all season to get off the White and tryout the Norfork. I am glad I did. While attending this years conclave I set my mind on fishing (by myself)my favorite stream. Let me tell you, you had to think small. The usual scuds and sow bugs just didn't seem to work. The midges were polific as usual but this time the fish were paying very close attention to them. #20-22 WD-40 tan and #22 zebra midge, #18 Chucks Emerger were flies of the trouts choosing to the My delight! Remember long leaders and 6&7x tippett were needed to land a 23"rainbow, 2-18" cutts, 22" brown and a 25" brown that I didn't get to land (those small barbless hooks). So everybody keep on fishing the White so I can fish probably the best river in the country.
