Current Report
First time on the San Gabriel. Fished Sunday, March 21 with great success. Second pool above the second bridge in the wild trout section had plenty of fish. Used #18 bead head pheasant tail under a strike indicator and spent two hours fishing only two pools catching 15 small to medium size rainbows. Weather was warm, but water was cool. Sighted a number of fish rising, but didn't change the success of the nymph. Will be back next weekend
