Current Report
The challenging waters of Green Creek are currently productive. The snow melt off is solid and the water levels are at about 150-180 CFS. I spotted fish from Dynamo Pond all the way up Green Creek to Green lake. As you get further up stream well past the meadows and beaver dams fish were easily visible in the spot pools and soft shoulders off of the riffles. Water temperatures on Green Creek near Dynamo pond were at about 54 degrees. I landed 10 fish in 3 hours and had another 4-5 on the hook. Fish I caught ranged in size from 10-14 inches. I caught mostly Browns, and a couple of Rainbow. There was a prolific midge and caddis hatch in the afternoon. Hot Flies: Green/soft Hackle emerger. Rock Worm. Yellow soft hackle emerger.
