Current Report
Lots of rain, but at least it's warm, not all cold and white .... LOL Water level is very high with about 6 inch visibility, but the peacock and largemouth bass are very cooperative. Nothing really big, everything is running from 1 to 3 pounds, good fun on light 4 and 5 weight rods. We're seeing some larger peacock bass (5 to 7 pounders) cursing the shore line.... sometimes they attack any fly tossed in their direction. The next minute they just ignore everything ...... but boy when they do turn on your fly it's really exciting to watch. Just have to let them take the fly and not set the hook till you feel the tug. Aloha, Stan
