Current Report
We float tubed Pleasant Valley Res at the upper end working from the area where the river runs into the resevoir to the first bend. Caught 12 - 13" browns & a couple rainbows on black woolly buggers fished on full sink line right on the bottom. A soaring bald eagle topped off the day. Saturday we fished the Lower Owens at Warm Springs road. We hiked up river to the silo's & began crawling through the cow paths to the river. Caught a few browns & mostly rainbows on black woollys & Tom Loe's modified spruce pattern(great fly Tom!!)The fly HAD to be right on the bottom. Got some good insect activity around 1 pm. Quite a few bait fishermen on the weekend.
