Current Report
Current hot spot in New Mexico. All drainages in the Jemez country finigh the runoff about a month prior to those in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. All streams are receding from the runoff and are clear. Fishing is reported as good to excellent in all drainages. Memorial weekend upon us so expect large crowds in all areas.

Special Report
Look for the stoneflies to start hatching in the next week on the Guadalupe. Valles Caldera also scheduled to open for limited fishing this summer (more details to follow).

One-Week Fishing Forecast
Expect good to excellent fishing with a variety of nymphs and dry flies.

Two-Week Fishing Forecast
Fishing should remain excellent after the stoneflies are finished hatching.

Hatch Info
Stoneflies, caddisflies, and mayflies. Expect terrestrials to become increasingly important during latter June through August.

Hot Fly Patterns
The swkies the limit here but be sure and include some stimulators, elk hair caddis, searching attractors like Wulffs, and assorted bead head nymphs.

River Flows
all very fishable with clear to clearing conditions.

Lake Levels
Fenton Lake is full. Fishing is fair for stocker rainbows. you can also try a float tube here.
