Wigwam River

Current Report
Currently the Wigwam River is high but the water is clean and the fishing is great. The bull trout are just now moving up the river. These fish often reach over 20 pounds. Look for various mayfly hatches throughtout the day. Watch this stream for intense hatches in July. It should be on fire in the next short time. Stoneflies and green drakes are all over the water in the afternoon as well since this is a tributary to the Elk River. We expect the water to continue to drop as our forecast for the next week looks warm and sunny. For more information please email Jeff; jeff@flyfishingwest.com www.flyfishtheelk.com
