Bow River - The river is in
excellent fall condition.
Fish are feeding heavily at
the bottom of the riffles.
Try hopper-dropper - but
don't expect too much action
on the hopper. Dropper
should have some flash to
imitate water boatmen. Try
prince nymphs, hare's ears,
evil weevils, baetis nymphs,
wagler's water boatmen,
black copper johns.
October Caddis are starting
to happen - try orange
stimulator, orange parachute
madam x's.

almost time to start
checking the Elbow River for
spawning brown trout redds.
Remember that the Elbow and
Bow upstream of the wier by
the zoo is closed Oct 1.
