Bow river Calgary Canada

This report is coming to you from Calgary alberta Canada.I nymph fished the bow river today below the city of Calgary it was outstanding .The water temp was a constant 39 degrees the skies were sunny the air temp was around 40 degrees . There was no slush ice or ice flows on the river midges were coming off the river but no surface action.The size 12 san juan worm as well as a size 18 brassie as well as the size 16 gold ribbed hares ear worked very well but the most productive pattern was the size 10 goldenstone. The largest trout was a 26" brown ,the largest rainbow was 23 " average size was around 22" go ski banff one day fish the bow the next.Good luck and tight lines to every one in the southern USA.
