Watauga River in East Tennessee

Current Report
The Watauga has been nymphing well. You have had to fish it deep and slow, since the water from Stoney Creek and the Doe River has been cold. There are a few Blue Quills and midges on the Watauga, and we are looking forward to the upcoming Caddis hatches. A few more days of warm weather should get the temperature up enough for the Caddis.
