Current Report
The Chattahoochee river here in Ga. is fishing well as the spawning population of browns are turning their fall colors and on the bite during the warmer hours of the day. Mayfly nymphs in the smaller sizes seem to be the best bet, as well as wooly buggers in black and dark green. Fished all day with a Scott eight foot S series rod with a very special old hardy that my granfather owned. He would have been amazed to see the fish caught in a river so close to and in the midst of such urban and city sprawl.
