The spawn is on and has been
happening for the past few
weeks.Expect this phenomenon
to slow to a stop within a
couple more weeks.
Catch of the Week
Mark Puterbaugh took the
pic. of my large Brown (28
inches in length and 15+
inches girth),taken below
the fish trap a couple weeks
ago.

As of Sept 15th a Kokanee
spawning operation has been
set up downstream from the
bridge. It is marked by a
boundary of orange snow
fence and may only be
entered by DOW personel, The
closed area will be
monitored by 11 Mile rangers!

Lake Levels
The water level in the res.
is as close to going over
the spillway as I've seen in
recent years.When I walked
back up the dam road on
Monday we looked over the
spillway and the water was
only a couple feet below the
lip.It's been a few years
since I have seen water
wetting the cement spillway.
