Current Report
2007 is bringing some new changes to the Bighorn Angler….GIVING US THE MOST EXTENSIVE SELECTION OF FLY FISHING PRODUCTS IN FORT SMITH. A newly remodeled fly shop. New products like Simms, Jet Boil backcountry products, Brunton Optics, and Kaenon sunglasses. technical dry flies from Renne Harop, expansion in the streamer and streamer lines for all you chuck and duck junkies. And a lot of much needed tlc / updates in our lodging... such as Dish Network in ALL of the rooms, new beds, NEW WATER SYSTEM, and a bunch of other things. I am going to try as hard as possible to keep this page current… day to day operations are pretty much a one man show, so it might not be updated every day, but it will get done a few times a week. I hope you all enjoy. Right now the fishing is awesome. Consistent fishing producing some very large fish. The water is a little low spreading the fish out all over the place. Skinny water, inside seams, drop offs, and the tail ends of some of the deeper runs. This has been one of the best dry fly seasons in recent history. Midge and BWO activity on the surface is great when the wind is not blowing.. Shop hours are 7:30am - 2:00pm 7 days a week stop in or give us a call we would love to get you on out on the water.
