Current Report
Gore Creek is fishing well.
Sight nymphing
opportunites with small eggs
and midge patterns.Some
risers in slower pools. 6x
Flouro
and a bit of stealth will
help your chances.
Concentrate on the lower
sections below Lionshead.
Catch of the Week
The water near Donovan Park
has been great. Best fish
yesterday was a 18" cutbow on
a Griffith's Gnat.
Special Report
We have a new look in the
shop,plenty of inventory,
and
the only locally owned
flyshop near Vail or Beaver
Creek. Our experienced
local
guides are out every day and
guided trips have been
catching fish and having fun.
One-Week Fishing Forecast
Fishing will remain pretty
good on
the lower couple miles while
the upper reaches will see
tougher fishing due to low
water temps. Still a ton of
deep snow on the banks making
getting around a challenge.
Two-Week Fishing Forecast
The upper stretches will
begin to see better fishing
as more water opens and
temperatures rise.
