thing are very good on the Fork. Fish are looking up and chasing streamers and nymphing has been solid. The warmer weather has really turned the fishing on. Midge hatches begin late morning and nymphing deeper runs and holes with attractor patterns like a twenty incher or copper john with an olive,or black crystal midge has been the way to go. Eggs and an Juan Worms have been hitting larger more aggressive rainbows. Both floaters and wade fisherman are doing well.

Fishing should continue to remain good. This is our favorite season on the Fork!

Fishing will continue to reamin great with longer days and warmer temps. The Fork is one of the best fisheries around in March and April.

Baitfish Report
Always sculpins, small trout, and baby whitefish around which are an important food source for the larger predatory trout in the Fork.

Hot Fly Patterns
Eggs,Lightning Bug, Red Copper Johns,Green Caddis Larvae, Twenty Inchers, Quasimodo pheasant tails,Micromayfly,Biot Soft Hackle Midge, San Juan Worm,Flash RS-2,Barr Emerger,Small Parachute Adams and Hi Vis Griffiths Gnat for sippers. Buggers taking a few fish as well.
