Remember, you can order anything from the Orvis catalog and pay NO SALES TAX AND NO SHIPPING! 800-297-8996...............River Level: 962 cfs. and dropping at Turah, 3170 cfs and dropping below Missoula, and 8160 cfs. and dropping @ St. Regis. This could be a banner day on the Clark Fork. We have dropping, clearing water, and cloud cover. Look for grey drakes and caddis to be important, but the big stonefly fishing could be really good too. (#6-10 dark bodied stonefly patterns). Princes have been working very well, along with worms and caddis pupae. Hatches: Skwalas, grey drakes, March Browns, Mother's Day Caddis, bastard stones, and blue-winged olives. Fly Patterns: Skwalas in #8-12 like customized Rastaman Skwalas, Rogue Goldens #6-8, Miller's Clark Fork Skwala, Bullethead Skwalas and Bugmeisters, GT bwo's #16-18, bwo cripples #18, GT grey drakes #10-12, Parachute Caddis (dark colors) #12-16, Sparkle pupas #14, March Brown parachutes and cripples #14-16, Copper Johns #14-16, Beadhead Peacock Anatomay's #8-12, Princes #8-16, JJ's, Powell's Bunny Sculpins, and conehead buggers.
