Current Report
Thanks to everyone who attended our Orvis/Grizzly Hackle Customer Appreciation Day. Remember, you can order anything from the Orvis catalog and pay NO SALES TAX AND NO SHIPPING! 800-297-8996..........................River Level: 405 cfs. and dropping. The road is passable again at the 17 mile mark, though there are still some crews working, so you may get delayed for a few minutes, but not long. The creek is fishing good, and should be better today with the clouds. At around 400 cfs, the upper river is still easier to fish, but there is now plenty of good water on the lower end too. Hatches: Skwalas, March Browns, BWOs, capnias, nemouras, and midges. Fly Patterns: Double-bead stones (hare's ear and olive) #8-10, beadhead princes in all sizes have been great, beadhead skwalas, copper johns, worms, anatomay's #8-12, GT Grey Drakes (#10-12), parachute adams #14-18, blue wing olives #16-18, March Browns #14-16 and bullethead skwalas. Streamers too...pick your favorite, as it doesn't seem to really matter.
