Current Report
We have lots of Battenkill Mid-Arbor reels in stock. No sales tax. Free shipping. Call us to place an order, or to book your trip! 800-297-8996...........................River Level: 455 cfs. and rising. The road is passable again at the 17 mile mark, though there are still some crews working, so you may get delayed for a few minutes, but not long. The creek has come up a bit, but not a ton, so it will still fish. It's still mostly a nymphing show, but in another week or so, the fish might be starting the salmonfly buffet line. "I couldn't possibly eat one more bite............oh, what the heck." Gluttony can be a wonderful thing! Hatches: Skwalas, March Browns, BWOs, capnias, nemouras, and midges. Fly Patterns: Double-bead stones (hare's ear and olive) #8-10, beadhead princes in all sizes have been great, beadhead skwalas, copper johns, worms, anatomay's #8-12, GT Grey Drakes (#10-12), parachute adams #14-18, blue wing olives #16-18, March Browns #14-16 and bullethead skwalas. Streamers too...pick your favorite, as it doesn't seem to really matter.
