Current Report
Flowing at 229 cfs at Ruedi and fishing's red hot! Green Drakes are basically everywhere from Seven Castles up to the dam, and often start like clockwork around 11 AM. Fish may key in on Drake nymphs and emergers, or smaller food sources during the hatch if they have had lots of pressure. PMDs are the main food souce present after about 2 PM and going into early evening. There are always variations with size and color (pink to sulphur) on the Pan, so keep your box stocked with appropriate PMD patterns such as those listed below. PMD spinnerfalls and caddis dominate the evening action, which is still pretty silly right before dark.
