Current Report
Fished the Green based out of Indian Crossing 6/23 - 6/25. Thought flows would be stable, (steady from 6/18- 6/23). Here's the link to USGS flows: http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ut/n wis/uv? dd_cd=01&dd_cd=02&dd_cd=03&for mat=gif&period=10&site_no=0923 4500 Fortunately checked flows before heading over and threw a float tube in the car to be able to get back accross. Fluctuations are definately noticable, and fishing was better early when flows were lower that later in the afternoon. Hatches included PMD's, Yellow Sallies, and sporatic calibaetis. Terrestrials present were lots of ants, beetles, and 2 mormon crickets: very few hoppers. Fished with stimulators (#12), golden turke's (#10), yellow humpies(#14), small foam ants(#18) and small cherynobil ants w/purple underbody (#12) on top, and tung-bead pheasant tails (#16), and fur ants (#20) as droppers. Caught several small browns on bronze slump busters and tan conehead spuddlers. Curious to see if flows stabilize or continue to fluctuate...fishing was good- excellent, but is limited if you can't cross.
