The Bighorn is flowing near 2350 cfs. These flows started in the spring of 2005 and are allowing the young of the year Rainbows and Browns to survive at excellent rates. We are seeing lots of 1-2 year old trout and the days of rising pods are back. Excellent dry fly fishin this past month with midges and Baetis hatches goiung on throughout the day. The days that the weather has been a bit rough the nymph fishing has been solid. Dry fly patterns to use Midges: 18-20 Sipper midge, 20 Midge Adams,14-22 Griffiths or posted midge clusters. Baetis: 18-20 Downey Dun, CDC Dun or emerger, Para Blue Dun, Quigley Cripple Midge larva in greeen, red and tan are in the fish Small Sowbugs in tan or grey. Shrimp The fishing has beeen great, there are more anglers showing up ,as the word spreads but plenty of good fishing for everyone
