Current Report
Fished the Colorado at the
Breeze-Kemp Unit public water
near Parshall on Saturday,
June 17th. The flow was pretty
heavy, but the water was
clear. We arrived at the river
at about 9:30 and the caddis
were active. The fish were
looking up and my friend and I
caught some nice Browns on an
Elk Hair Caddis as well as a
Bread Crust fished as a
dropper below the dry. In the
afternoon the P.M.D. started
to hatch and each of us got
into the fish on size 18
parachute PMD's as well as
various emergers fished behind
the dries.
It was a good day on the
Colorado with the fishing
steady all day long.
