Current Report
The Blue River is fishing extremely well. Down stream from Dillon Dam, fish have been feeding heavily on the surface, most of the action coming from 22-24 olive midge patterns (tie with grizzly hackle) and same size BWO. Blue wings have been hatching around 1PM. Weather has been below freezing in the AM, no need to fish until 11AM and on. water is gin clear, sight fishing is key, watch the pattern of the fish before attempting a cast...they are finicky and will not eat if they are spooked. Lots of fish in town.
