Current Report
The fickleness of this beloved river makes me wish I would have paid more attention in biology class. Recent floats prior to the run off have proven adventurous to say the least. The fluctuation in weather patterns has kept our home river at everchanging levels, but holding off the spring thaw. No caddis just yet, but the bright olive critters are thick on the rocks. Baetis and midges are providing appetizers in the foam. Upstream breezes have allowed these small bugs to break the surface. Fish are chasing the secret "Chicken" hard and fast. Every fish caught is healthy and strong. Give us a call, 800- 313-4868 and refer to this report for 20% off!
