Pearls of the Pacific, Hotel Bora Bora, French Polynesia

I once read an article entitled "The Most Beautiful Transfer in the World." It described the ride taken by incoming guests across the lagoon to the Hotel Bora Bora. Having recently made this trip in the presence of a magnificent Polynesian sunset, I doubt that the author was guilty of exaggeration. Think of the transfer as the opening act for the true "star" is the hotel itself. This beautiful Aman resort sits on Point Raititi and encompasses three lovely white sand beaches. Polynesian resorts are famous for their overwater bungalows, and the Hotel Bora Bora’s version is lovely. My preference is for the pool faré, a beautifully decorated villa complete with its own enclosed private pool.
